Description: The Mardi Gras fabric in the Brilliance Pleated Shades offers a privacy rating 3 (softened light, substantial privacy). The material is a favorite for its simplicity. The maximum width for a single panel is 72”, wider shades will have overlapping materials where routed. Optional lifting system for this Hunter Douglas Shade is the top down-bottom up, cordless lift (LiteRise), clutch operated (SoftGlide) or motorized PowerRise. Precise Pleat is an optional feature that ensures perfectly even pleat sizes from top to bottom.

Brilliance LiteRise
Pleated Shades with the LiteRise feature offer a cordless lift. A little handle allow for the shade to be lowered and raised with easy, avoiding messy cords, adding to the child safety of your home.
Brilliance SoftGlide
With this optional upgrade, ideal for large windows, shades are operated by a continuous cord loop and clutch system. The system provides an increased mechanical advantage to make it easy to operate even the largest shades. SoftGlide shades require proper and precise mounting of the cord tensioner for the product to function properly. A matching fabric valance insert is standard with the SoftGlide system
Brilliance Top Down / Bottom Up
The top down / bottom up shade add versatility to the function of the shade. The bottom can be raised, or with a second set of strings the shade can be lowered from the top down. This allows for privacy at the bottom and a view out on top.
PowerRise (Motorized)
Hunter Douglas now offers a motorized lifting system with its exclusive Platinum Technology system. Using the Platinum remote, window coverings can be controlled individually or in groups, up to 100 feet away. This motorized lifting system combines both line-of-sight (using infrared technology) and "out-of-sight" control (using radio frequency technology).
Brilliance Precise Peat
A dual cord ladder system is used to raise and lower shades, while keeping pleats crisp and uniform, and is strongly recommended for shades that are not operated frequently to help with pleat retention. It gives an even, clean appearance and keeps the shade from bunching up at the bottom. Picture on left is the "rear view" of a shade with PrecisePleat feature.
